Our new Portrait Gallery is now live!   It is much easier to use that our last one and it has a cleaner look. 

Each prop category has sample cover image and you are told how many images are in that prop category.  Once you have entered a category, you can continue to click on an image to make it larger with much more detail.  In addition, every page gives you the option of seeing more specs about the prop and instructions on how to buy it.  To our thinking, this gallery is the most exciting feature offered by any portrait photography web site.  Photographers love to share images, offer ideas, get ideas and comment.  We invite you to visit the site http://www.wickerbydesign.com/gallery/main.php.    

The idea for this gallery came several years ago.  We were reflecting on how much photographers like to save our photography prop catalogs because the images were so good.  The prop catalogs themselves were sources of inspiration and new ideas for poses and uses of our props.  This thought led us to the idea of putting it all online.  So, over the past ten years we have continuously adding images.  We now have close to 1,000 images online now!

The interesting thing about the portrait gallery is that, using the search option, you can sort the images by name of the photography prop; photographer name; indoor/outdoor; low/high or medium key; indoor or outdoor; infant, baby, toddler, child, senior, mother or adult; sibling; color: white, whitewash or brown for wicker; antique green, whitewash or white for most metal; white, tan and walnut for most wood; and finally the medium, wicker,willow, wood or metal.  Using these criteria, you can do a "google" like search.   Boolean or combination searches, "toddler and outdoor", are not available yet but hope to see it soon.
